I began my career as an attorney before pursuing Masters studies in UX Research and Animation while working as a Project Coordinator for DePaul University in the College of Computing and Digital Media.

While working at DePaul, I pursued some programming and database classes to help me work with our internal application development department and to augment my UX research. I discovered that I loved building and understanding how software works just as much as I loved understanding how users interact with applications. I recently completed a software development training program at Fullstack Academy Chicago.

I am interested in front-end/ UI development roles. I am particularly interested in specializing as a front-end developer with a UX research/design background. I believe I can augment a development team by integrating my human-centered design knowledge with my development skills.
